I am seeking to hear about stories of ex-Muslims. To tell the truth, I am living in the Middle-East, and it is very painful I cannot find anyone to speak my mind with....
To start off, I was married to a Muslim man. I loved him, but after the marriage I realized that the differences are too deep, and there is no way to be honest with him regarding this topic. He said that he is happy that there are more and more Christians in Europe who know the 'truth', so they convert Al Hamdulillah. He has no idea, and doesn't even care how deeply he has offended and hurt me thazt time, and many others.
This is only on story. Being in my home-country was not easy either, but a lot easier. I have a lot more freedom to discuss ideas. Here I would lose all my network over it. I can imagine how it feels for those who left their religion.
I am awaiting to read the stories, and maybe meet some of you.
I am also looking for tips how to figure out here if someone is like-minded or not.
Please comment, or if there is an option, pm me. I am totally new on the page.

There is no way you are alone. You may find some of the videos of Ayaan Hirsi Ali helpful and motivating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IGX_-FaZ-Q
Brigette Gabrial is another wonderful outspoken x-Muslim you may find motivating and useful to listen to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xZL3WoBQzI
You will find great support here, I cannot really understand what you are going through, but I do know it must be a living nightmare for you. Be strong, be quiet if you think you are in danger.
The links Cognostic posted are excellent.

Why did you leave Islam? Do you have any logical reasons or is it just emotional, such as the relationship with your husband and so on?
@ Royism FUCK ISLAM!
Apostasy in muslim countries is a dangerous act. Keep your thoughts to yourself. Find a way to get to your country's consulate and ask for help.
