1.) That's part of the reason why I started to work towards contributing to the development of Artificial General Intelligence. If there is a God, then that supposed God clearly doesn't want humans to be alive, and that's why we're mortal and susceptible to death /hardship.
2.) Artificial General Intelligence/Artificial Super Intelligence reasonably won't be subject to these limitations. As Richard Dawkins says:
Richard Dawkins said:
…it might not be a bad thing if we went extinct...and our civilization, the memory of Shakespeare and Beethoven and Michelangelo persisted in silicon rather than in brains and our form of life.
3.) Reference-A: Heartbreaking: Haitians eat 'dirt cookies' to survive.
4.) Reference-B: Richard Dawkins video/source of quote above.

Hamster wheels go round and round and the little hamsters never get anywhere.
That nonsense That spews out of Dawkins, Harris, Ehrman is so off base. God Loves those who eat dirt. Tell me do you with your money support food aid and clean water charities. It is up to us too, God created us as social beings, we are to help and assist one another. That`s what Jesus and the Christian faith is all about. The Christian message is quite simple to understand and to act out. Love God with all your heart soul mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself.
Jesus discouraged others from helping the poor, preferring instead to wash his feet with expensive perfume, as he believed the poor would be with us always.
Fortunately, we have not taken his word as gospel: extreme poverty has decreased by more than 400% in less than 40 years:

"Tell me do you with your money support food aid and clean water charities."
Yes, in fact despite suffering from arthritis in my spine and shoulder and being 49 I took part in a 60 mile charity cycle ride and fund raising to complete a clean water project in Africa a few years ago. I don't need to delude myself in anything supernatural to see that this was a worthwhile use of my energies.
"God Loves those who eat dirt. "
A particularly fatuous vapid remark even by the standards you have set.
"we are to help and assist one another."
Is that why you took pleasure in publicly claiming a man who died from cancer deserved it? What a truly hypocritical thing to say.
"That`s what Jesus and the Christian faith is all about. "
No it isn't, at all, have you even read the bible?
"The Christian message is quite simple to understand and to act out. Love God with all your heart soul mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself."
Hahahahhahahahahhahahahhaha, you lying hypocrite. I couldn't find your post but I did find this thread..

You know what you can do with your fucking religion Billy. You're a lying hypocrite.
Well said Sheldon!
I've read a great deal by those authors and none of it could rationally be called nonsense by any reasonable standard these were intelligent and erudite people. Your posts on the hand are the worst kind of bigoted blinkered vapid superstitious and moronic drivel. Why are you here Billy? You clearly have no interest in debate or even discussion, and just want to preach but don't have even a basic understanding of what's being discussed. You'd be far happier in a pulpit somewhere I think, and we'd certainly be happier.
@Faith in God...Tell me do you with your money support food aid and clean water charities.
Yep. I do lots of that. For example, I supported three children in India for years through Save the Children.
Aid and charity are fine, but the best long-term results are achieved through trade and investment. Living standards are improving in Southeast Asia and many parts of Africa thanks to expanding trade.
Religion helps nobody. Wherever your filthy missionaries go, they leave a slime trail of poverty, disease, ignorance, and failure in their wake. Catholic countries, including most of Latin America, tend to be economic basket-cases. Christianity is great stuff for making people put up with oppression, corruption, and poverty.
1.) You may be comfortable eating yourself silly, or not being subject to starvation and stagnant food, but I guarantee you, you probably would sing a different tune if you were one dieing from starvation. (In fact, you likely wouldn't have the energies to be talking that nonsense)
2.) You better prepare to refer to "Artificial General Intelligence" as "God" from now, because AGI will likely be used to end most if not all human suffering, including disease in the long run.
