Actually, this brings up a very important part of this discussion: Religions part in the discrimination of people.

That was a very good post

@Algebe
That was a very good post that mirrored my OP to an extent, but one thing I would like to clarify is:

"Our ethnic differences are also signs of evolution in action."

Ethnicity is defined as:

"the fact or state of belonging to a social group that has a common national or cultural tradition."

So as you can see ethnic differences are more about cultural and national traditions and practices. It is a misconception that it has to do with appearance, a misconception that I myself had held until I started to research into race and ethnicity for writing my OP. We have already covered this for the most part so I will just leave it at that and not repeat what has already been said, I encourage you to read over my OP because I go into greater detail about ethnicity. But please feel free to continue to add to the discussion.

@Xavier

Religion thrives on division, it is only when they can rally the orthodoxy to combat the heterodoxy that they can cling to power. This just ties right back into what I have said about the danger of tribalism of any sort, as I believe that tribalism is the father of all prejudice.

This really deserves a topic page of its own.
