Creationist Ken Ham, clearly forgetting to drink his coffee this morning, tweeted an anti-atheist rant accusing us of hating believers to the point where we “want Christianity outlawed.”

And...he's right. The body of work christianity has done to mankind versus done for him has to be weighed and judged. Furthermore, christianity needs to be charged for crimes against humanity and tried for them no differently than one man would be for a single charge of murder. I don't quite understand how this can be seen in any other light. Ham obviously thinks the centuries of human blood letting and suffering by the hand of christianity should be dismissed, or even worse, praised. Very twisted sense of morality at work there.
I don't agree with Ken. I don't expect that religions will ever be outlawed. Instead, I expect that America will stop conferring special status to christians and christian institutions such as schools and churches that receive special tax benefits and are not audited.
No not in the slightest, I would never stop anyone thinking or believing any pathetic crap they want...
But... it should not hold a special right to be free from ridicule nor should it be allowed within education other than at a higher level for literature or specific bible studies when one is old enough to choose his or her path.
