"The international atheist society is also not responding against these criminal activities of Islamic jihadist properly and effectively."
What can we do that's effective?
The "international atheist society" is really just a lot of small groups such as humanist, freethinking and skeptic associations. These oppose the the various problems religion causes in society. Many atheists aren't anti-religion per se and only interested in stopping specific abuses which religioinists inflict, such as clerical privileges (e.g. bishops in the UK upper house); religious courts (undermining one law for all); creationism (undermining science and education); and child genital mutilation (when religiously motivated) - to mention just some such wrongs.
Exactly.
And religion gives money and power, while atheism and humanism does not. The different secular groups have very little means to make an impact, while the religious leaders and extremists keeps people passive by fear.
That is why there is so little resistance against religious extremism.

Quote: A major breakthrough into the murder of Mannan and his friend is yet to be made, according to police sources. Law enforcement officials have also made no headway in the machete attacks on five people that took place in the eight days following Mannan’s killing on April 25.
It is Sad. The plight of rational thinkers world over is so desperate. You would think a species renowned for its intelligence would appreciate people using it, rather we tend to snuff them out. I too have chosen to hide behind a pseudonym for fear of persecution. For rationalists from the subcontinent it is really an uphill battle. At every turn we are confronted by moronic traditions and idiotic customs that we cannot shake off. A prominent Rationalist once joked that for exposing a hoax on national television he was threatened by fundamentalist groups a long time back and since has not received any threats, he says that, that time has past, now they will just follow through.
Yes but extreme religionists murder other religionists too, not just non-believers.

Sufi is popular in rural Bangladesh but considered deviant because of its mysticism by many of the country's majority Sunni Muslims.
The cleric was a local leader with a small following. Police say they still do not know who killed him but it could be the work of Islamic extremists.
Unquote.
Any "deviation" from what violent fundamentalists see as "the [insert religion] rules" (meaning their version) will justify tribal violence in their minds.
