The story here is that a 25 year old went to confession and two days later she ended up raped and dead. What happened? The priest killed her. Who knew? The priest. His co-workers. His confessor. The police. The church.
What happened? The church put pressure on Catholic public officials including the police commanders NOT to bring charges.
What happened next? No charges were filed for 56 years
Why? Because it would diminish the prestige of the church and the religion and the religious and the god. Typical

But they DO have evidence. Not too long ago I saw a picture in the tabloids of a piece of toast with the image of Jesus burnt into it. I heard it came from a Waffle House off the #10 exit just across the Arkansas state line. And the customer who had ordered the toast and discovered the image was reported to have won the lottery the very next day.... (or something like that).
Damn, I'm not far from there. That could've been me, if I was old enough to play the lotto.
