Their religion offends me so why the double-standard

I don't think its unfair to call religion fiction because religious followers waste no time throwing their beliefs in my face when I didn't ask for it, so why should I offer them the courtesy of sitting quiet about my own atheist beliefs when they don't sit quiet about their fictitious one? Their beliefs permeate every facet of my daily living without my approval, and preaches to millions of their kind around the world that people like me are going to burn in some eternal fire, so they shouldn't feel threatened by my tiny, insignificant bumper sticker if they are so strong in their faith. It's like an elephant being scared of a mouse. I can't count on one hand how many times I've been told I was going to hell or been called a heathen or similar name once I reply to them no thanks, I don't believe in gods.  Their religion offends me so why the double-standard that I can't I offend them?
