I think as atheists we should not keep quiet.

I am an atheist and I am from the southern part of the country where the population of both Muslims and Christians are equal. I think as atheists we should not keep quiet when the opportunity arises to debate with the believers. However, one needs to be careful and be sure that the environment for doing this is right. I will not advice anybody to do it in a volatile environment as found in the northern part of my country. I have had the opportunity to debate both muslims and Christians in an informal gathering, but the environment was conducive. Atheists should not keep quiet, but we should make sure that the environment for doing this is right.
