Atheist Republic News Summary: USAID’s Dark Secret: $164M to Terrorists...

  1. USAID’s Dark Secret: $164M to Terrorists – Exposed!

Location: United States

A bombshell investigation by the Middle East Forum has exposed USAID’s dark secret—at least $164 million in taxpayer dollars have allegedly been funneled to extremist organizations, with $122 million directly aiding groups aligned with designated terrorists. Among the most damning revelations: USAID granted over $900,000 to the Bayader Association for Environment and Development, a Gaza-based NGO with deep ties to Hamas, whose 2021 report documented “coordination” with Hamas’s Ministry of Interior, Works, Social Affairs, and Agriculture. USAID officials didn’t just fund Bayader—they actively praised it, with senior official Jonathan Kamin even accepting an award from the group. The report further uncovered that $12.5 million was granted to the American Near East Refugee Agency (ANERA), whose employees have publicly called to “erase the Jews” and celebrated Hamas’s October 7, 2023, massacre as a “beautiful morning.” Worse still, domestic extremist groups like the Tides Foundation, accused by Congress of fueling pro-Hamas, anti-Jewish violence on U.S. college campuses, also received funds. The scandal has rocked Washington, placing USAID under intense scrutiny.

  1. Australian Muslim Senator Defends Iran’s Gender Apartheid!

Location: Australia

Australian Senator Fatima Payman has sparked outrage after defending Iran’s treatment of women at an event accused of promoting Islamic Republic propaganda. Speaking at Western Sydney University, Payman dismissed Western criticism, claiming Iran is an “incredible place” where women “have a voice” and “are involved in the democratic process.” Payman said that she was merely “correcting the narrative” and encouraging Iranian women to “share their version of events.” Critics, however, see her statements as a dangerous whitewash of Iran’s brutal gender apartheid. Her remarks, broadcast by Iranian state-run Press TV, were slammed as “hypocrisy” by the advocacy group AUSIRAN, which condemned the event as “flagrantly supporting the regime’s misrepresentation of women’s rights.” The backlash was so fierce that New South Wales Minister for Women Jodie Harrison, who had sent a video message for the event, issued a public apology for her involvement, admitting it was “ill-considered.”

  1. ISIS Butchers 70 Christians in Congo Church!

Location: Democratic Republic of Congo

A horrifying massacre in Kasanga, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has left the world in shock after 70 Christians were brutally beheaded inside a church, with evidence pointing to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an ISIS-affiliated terror group. Witnesses report that the victims, including women, children, and the elderly, were “tied up and decapitated with knives” after being kidnapped on February 12th. According to an Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) source, “If you get tired on the way, you’re done. I believe that is what happened to these 70 people.” The ADF, designated as a terrorist organization by Uganda and the U.S., has been terrorizing the region for over a decade, escalating its attacks to instill fear and exert control.

  1. How Qatar Funds Pro-Palestine Indoctrination in US Schools!

Location: United States

A growing body of evidence suggests that Qatar is waging a stealth influence campaign in U.S. schools, using its state-owned Qatar Foundation International (QFI) to funnel at least $1.5 billion into American universities and K-12 education since 2012. Through grants, teacher salaries, and Arabic programs, QFI has embedded pro-Qatar and pro-Islamist narratives into school curricula, with lesson plans that downplay other religions—especially Judaism—and portray Qatar in a glowing light. Critics argue that this effort violates the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), with the Lawfare Project warning that “students are learning about the Middle East in a biased way that emphasizes only the positive aspects of Islam while omitting a balanced discussion of other religions or belief systems.” Programs funded by QFI also include trips to pro-Palestinian cultural events and Al-Masdar, an Arabic-language education platform described as an “open-education resource library” but accused of pushing Qatar’s ideological agenda. With increasing pressure on the Department of State to enforce FARA regulations, watchdog groups are demanding that schools benefiting from Qatari funding register as foreign agents—a move that could expose the true extent of Doha’s grip on American classrooms.

  1. The 14,000 Children Accused of Witchcraft in the United Kingdom

Location: United Kingdom

A shocking 14,000 cases of children accused of witchcraft have surfaced in the United Kingdom over the past decade, shedding light on a hidden crisis of faith-based abuse. The release of the film Kindoki Witch Boy, which tells the story of Mardoche Yembi, a Londoner falsely accused of witchcraft as a child, has reignited conversations about this dark reality. “If a story like Kindoki Witch Boy had been out there when I was a child going through those experiences, I would have felt less alone,” Yembi said, hoping the film will encourage more victims to come forward. The tragedy of Victoria Climbié, an eight-year-old girl tortured and killed in 2000 after being accused of witchcraft, remains a haunting reminder of the consequences of these beliefs. Accused children are often scapegoated for illness or financial misfortune, with some subjected to violent exorcisms or forced into isolation. Unlike Victoria, Yembi was rescued by social services and placed with a foster mother who helped him rebuild his life. Now an advocate for young care leavers, he dedicates his work to keeping Victoria’s memory alive: “Part of this film is for her. She didn’t have a chance to make it. I want to keep her name alive.”
