On July 27, the execution of three women was carried out in Iranian prisons. The accused women were all convicted and charged with killing their husbands. These three women were part of a recent execution spree that took the lives of 32 people in a single week.

Soheila Abedi, Faranak Beheshti, and Senobar Jalali were victims of forced marriages.

Muslim Teen Killed in Violent Assault by Hindu-Extremists

An 18-year-old man died in Karnataka, India, after members of Hindutva brutally assaulted him.

The death of a Muslim teenager, identified as B. Masood, happened on July 21, two days after the assault transpired in the southwestern region of India. Reportedly, the incident stemmed from an argument Masood had about purchasing a three-month-old calf.

On July 1,  Pakistan Police arrested 27 Samsung employees at a mobile store after a mob turned violent at the Star City mall in Karachi. Protests began after a WiFi device was installed at the mall, which allegedly made blasphemous remarks against the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. In retaliation, a violent crowd gathered at the spot and damaged signboards and goods.

On June 27, the father of Ariana Lashkari shot the sixteen-year-old girl in the chest with a hunting rifle for allegedly laughing with a boy at a park, which he considered a disgrace to the family.

Another Indian Civilian Murdered for Supporting "Blasphemous" Politician

On July 21, Umesh Kolhe, a pharmacist, was brutally killed on his way home after shutting his drug store in Maharashtra, India. The authorities suspect he was attacked for sharing posts on social media supporting Nupur Sharma. The police have arrested seven, and the NIA (National Investigation Agency) has started an in-depth investigation.

Remarks Against Prophet Muhammad Sparks Violence Across India; Teens Killed

Muslims have protested across India over the remarks by one of the ruling party’s top members. As of the second week of June, two people have died related to the protests in Jharkhand, a state in eastern India, while hundreds were arrested.

In Uttar Pradesh, around 230 protesters were arrested. In West Bengal, 70 people were arrested and charged with rioting and disturbing public order.
