Wyoming Republicans Seek to Kill Proposed Anti-Child Marriage Law

The Wyoming Republican Party is planning to stop a proposed bill that seeks to place a minimum age requirement for marriage from being passed into law, despite being sponsored by a Republican lawmaker.

The proposed bill plans to set the minimum age for marriage to 18 years old. Exceptions remain for 16 and 17-year-olds as long as they can obtain parental permission. Wyoming Republican and Representative Dan Zwonitzer proposed the measure.

New Federal Lawsuit Over Anti-LGBT Discrimination in Fostercare Program

On October 13, a lawsuit filed in Washington DC accuses the US federal government of financing organizations that discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals from becoming foster parents. The complaint stated that Kelly Easter was declined twice from becoming a foster parent for a migrant child by a federal foster care program.

Iranian Woman Burned to Death by Father for Having a Lover

Dr. Iman Navvabi shared a photo of a patient with severe burns on his Instagram around October 4. The victim was 22-year old Faezeh Maleki, who suffered third-degree burns on 85% of her body. She died of her injuries on the morning of Sunday,October 3rd.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network, an independent, non-profit, and nonpartisan organization in France, spoke with one of the witnesses. Faezeh Maleki’s father poured gasoline on her and lit her on fire, explained the witness.

Utah Charter School Linked to Polygamous Mormons Under Investigation

The West Valley City public charter school is under investigation by The Utah State Charter School Board for its lack of diversity and spending irregularities.

FOX 13 News reported that Vanguard Academy has ties to the Kingston group, a known polygamous sect of Mormonism in Utah. Within the past five years, Vanguard Academy has enrolled only one non-white student. The school also spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on companies related to the Kingston family, according to public records.

Man Claims Jesus Told Him To Cause Fatal Crash To Save Infant Son

On January 9, 2021, A Kentucky man with his infant son in his lap caused a fatal head-on collision while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

The citation was filed by a Kentucky State Police trooper investigating the wreck, officer Jason Warinner.  The officer said the 30-year-old driver, Jesse Brown, reported that he heard Jesus tell him to steer into oncoming traffic if he wanted to save his infant son, Dalton.
