A shocking new poll discovered that almost a third of Muslims in the United Kingdom hold a positive view of Hamas and want Sharia law to be implemented in the country within the next 20 years.
A grim new report reveals that only one in four British Muslims believe that Hamas committed murder and rape in Israel on October 7th, with 46% sympathising with the terrorist organisation. https://t.co/TpFCWp8HrI

The survey, titled “British Muslim and General Public Attitudes Polling,” was commissioned by the Henry Jackson Society, a British national security think tank, and was carried out with the help of polling and research firm JL Partners.
For the study, the Henry Jackson Society and JL Partners sampled 1,000 Muslims and 2,013 members of the British general public. The research was conducted from February 14 to March 12 for British Muslims and March 4 to 6 for the general public. The study also included quotas for age, gender, and education to “ensure representative data for each sample.”
The poll also asked respondents a series of questions based on three themes: Political behavior, which studied British Muslims’ voting patterns and political attitudes; Israel/Palestine, which looked into British Muslims’ views on Israel, Palestine, and Hamas; and future of society, where British Muslims were asked about their opinions on specific social and cultural policies.
These are appalling figures. We've got some serious problems in this country.

In the study, around 46% of British Muslim respondents sympathize with Hamas more than Israel, compared to only 26% of the general public. Female British Muslims and 18-to-34-year-old British Muslims are more likely to feel sympathy with Hamas than other subgroups of the same demographic, with 47% and 53% of them respectively sympathizing with the proscribed terrorist group.
British Muslims are also more likely to believe that Jews hold too much power over government, business, and media than the British general public, with almost half (46%) of the survey’s British Muslim respondents saying that Jews have too much control over the United Kingdom’s foreign policy, compared to just 16% of the general public respondents. 47% of the British Muslim respondents also hold the same view regarding American foreign policy.
Compared to the general public, British Muslims are also more likely to name the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as their most important election issue, with 26% of the respondents saying the ongoing conflict is the most pressing issue for them, compared to just 3% for the general public.
Says it all really… highly islamaphobic Henry Jackson society commissions a poll and a small 1,000 sample reaches the desired conclusions

Like the general public, more British Muslims name the cost of living as their most important election issue, with 40% of British Muslims and 52% of general public respondents listing the cost of living as their number one issue. Nevertheless, the study found that most British Muslims care more about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict than other more pressing issues, such as the NHS (11%), education (5%), and immigration (10%).
As for voting patterns and political behavior, British Muslims are more likely to vote for Labour than the general public, with an overwhelming 61% of British Muslim respondents saying they would vote for the Labour Party if there were a general election tomorrow compared to 43% of the general public. British Muslims are also less likely to vote for Conservatives (12%) than the general public (26%).
This is complete bollocks.
I'm Muslim, and I can tell you this survey is full of shit.
The claims by the Henry Jackson society, which is right wing think tank, funded by unscrupulous individuals and undisclosed donors, with the Israeli government being amongst it.— Tweet Book (@Tweeet_Book) April 8, 2024
Regarding the survey’s results, a founder of organizations such as Tell Mama, Faith Matters, and Muslims Against Anti-Semitism told MailOnline that “Hamas is an Islamist extremist and terrorist group and has been terrorizing Gazans, Israelis, and liberals within society for decades.”
"The sense that Hamas did not conduct massacres and rapes in Israel is atrocious because it shows a closed-off mentality to anything emanating from Israel.” The founder also said. "The findings confirm that a lot of work needs to be done to inform, challenge, and address old anti-Semitic tropes that are still circulating among some of my co-religionists.”
