France witnessed nearly double the number of antisemitic actions this year from last year.
Jewish groups afraid of the actions as they are done by gangs.
France is home for 500,000 to 600,000 Jews, which is the third largest jewish population after Israel and the United States.
“A total of 529 antiSemitic actions or threats were registered up to the end of July, when the number was 276 in the same period last year,” the Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF) said, using figures from the interior ministry.
“[These actions] exacerbate the growing unease that oppresses Jews in France each day and overshadows their future," a CRIF spokesman added.
The violence this time was practiced by more organised gangs, which worries the groups after witnessing more Jews leave France for Israel than any other country which they believe antisemitism is the reason for.
Violence increased after recent conflicts in Palestine between Israel and Hamas in Gaza strip, which led to the destruction of Jewish businesses in France after protests blaming Israel.
