The creationist group named Answers in Genesis was rather unhappy with Neil deGrasse Tyson’s revival of the television series Cosmos but now they are demanding airtime on the same show. They want to be featured on Cosmos because they believe the show is biased, as it does not include the views of those who deny evolution.
While on The Janet Mefferd Show, Danny Faulkner from Answers in Genesis criticized Cosmos for not including the viewpoint of adherents of creationism. Mefferd asked Faulkner if Cosmos would ever give creationists any time to which Faulkner said, “Creationists aren’t even on the radar screen for them, they wouldn’t even consider us plausible at all.”
Mefferd agreed with Faulkner saying Cosmos is in fact unfair and unbalanced.
“Boy, but when you have so many scientists who simply do not accept Darwinian evolution it seems to me that that might be something to throw in there, you know, the old, ‘some scientists say this, others disagree and think this,’ but that’s not even allowed… Consideration of special Creation is definitely not open for discussion it would seem,” he said.
Non-believers and evolutionary scientists believe evolution is the foundation of modern day biology. According to them, suggesting evolution and theological beliefs on creation are merely “two sides” of the same coin is just as absurd as the arguments used by creationists to undermine the teaching of evolution in public schools.

This show is a dedication to SCIENCE, not any nonsense that people want to talk about. You don't get to demand time on other people's shows. Can Neil demand time on the 700 Club...? No! He can't! If creationists want time on television, I've got a novel idea.... MAKE YOUR OWN FUCKING SHOW! I'm sure it'll be as big of a hit as Honey Boo Boo and Duck Dynasty, and most likely have the same overweight and undereducated fan base.

I think it makes sense to repeat the Hitch's words, since he's not here to do it himself. We must play it fair. EQUAL TIME means a lecture on the Cosmic Inflation theory in Church. If we can achieve that, then a section on creationism in COSMOS wont be too bad- it'll provide a few laughs.
