Three British employees had their Christian discrimination lawsuit rejected this week by the European Court of human rights.
Gary McFarlane and Lillian Ladele both had religious issues with dealing with same sex couples. Ladele refused to hold civil ceremonies for couples looking to get married and McFarlane was fired from his job after refusing to council and assist same sex couples. Shirley Chaplin, a nurse at Exeter, was asked to remove her crucifix at work due to health and hygiene concerns for patients and other staff members.
